PhD Program

Eligibility:

The candidates seeking admission to PhD programmes must have secured at least 55% marks at PG level for relevant disciplines or have obtained CGPA 5.5 or above on 10 point scale or an equivalent grade. However, in the case of SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy layers)/Differently-abled candidates, the minimum marks required shall be 50% or 5/10 CGPA.

Admission Process:

It shall consist of the following components:

A. i) Entrance Examination – 70% Marks

ii) Interview - 30% Marks

N.B. - The minimum marks are 50% in written examination and interview taken together. However, a relaxation of 5 % of marks (from 50% to 45%) shall be allowed for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy layers)/Differently-abled category in the entrance examination conducted.

B. Candidates who have cleared a national level examination like CSIR/UGC/NET-JRF etc. may appear for interview without appearing in the entrance test.

Exam Time: 11:00 Am - 12:10 PM

Admission is subject to availability of seats.

Entrance Fee: Rs. 3750/-

Tuition Fee: Rs 1.0 lac per Year for minimum period of 3 Yrs = Rs 3,00,000/-

Viva & Thesis Evaluation : Rs 15000 (One Time) /-

Alumni Charges: Rs. 2000 (One Time ) /-

Security Amount: Rs.10,000 (Refundable) /-

Note:

1. The prospectus containing the application form may be obtained from the Admission Cell of the University as and when notified to be available. The application form may also be downloaded from the University website for submission, duly filled in, to the University along with the prescribed fee.
2. In service candidates applying for admission to PhD programmes shall submit NOC from the employer.
