School of Physical Sciences

The School’s aim is to contribute to our understanding of the physical world through excellence in observational, theoretical and experimental science and to extend quantitative, qualitative and combined methodologies to address problems in the fields of science. The faculty is commited to produce quality research and at the same time is vitally concerned with undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. Curriculum of the School is designed to meet the needs of a wide variety of students ranging from those with little technical background who seek insight into the activities and accomplishments of physical scientists to those seeking a comprehensive understanding that prepares them for creative research in physical science. Studying Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Statistics opens doors to a range of sectors and opportunities.
