The School of Hotel Management, Starex University, organized an educational visit to the Surajkund International Crafts Mela on 15th February 2025. A group of 11 students, accompanied by faculty members, explored the vibrant cultural extravaganza, providing them with valuable exposure to diverse arts, crafts, and cuisines from across the country and the world. The objective of this visit was to provide students with an opportunity to understand different traditional arts, crafts, and culinary practices. The event also aimed at broadening their knowledge of cultural tourism, hospitality, and the role of food festivals in the tourism industry.

On 22nd January 2025, law students visited Parliament House to gain practical insights into India's legislative process and the functioning of its democratic institutions. The visit began with a guided tour of the iconic Parliament House, showcasing its historical and architectural significance. Students observed the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, learning their distinct roles in lawmaking. They also explored the legislative process, including bill passage, debates, and voting mechanisms, gaining a deeper understanding of parliamentary procedures. A detailed briefing on parliamentary committees highlighted their vital role in policy review, transparency, and lawmaking efficiency. Students appreciated how standing, select, and joint committees shape legislation through meticulous scrutiny. The students visited the Parliament Library, a knowledge hub supporting lawmakers, and explored its vast resources, understanding its importance in research and decision-making.
