So, if you want to opt this field then there are some basic eligibility criteria that you have to follow. There are three types of courses which you can opt from.

  1. Certificate course: This course is for a short time period of about 6 months to 1 year. You can go for this course after completing your Senior Secondary Education.
  2. Diploma course: The duration of this course is 2 years & for opting this course, you should have pursued at least 10th or 12th with the minimum percentage of 40% plus English as a compulsory subject.
  3. Degree course: This is a 3 year course & basic qualification for the undergraduate degree course includes completion of matriculation or Senior Secondary Education with the minimum percentage of minimum 50% & English subject as compulsory.

After completing the Undergraduate degree course, you may go for the Post graduation degree course. You are eligible for this, if you score a minimum percentage of 45% from a recognized university.

In addition to this, there are some other courses that you can choose on the basis of your academic qualifications. You can choose from the courses as follows.

  • Bachelors of Arts in Hotel Management

  • B.A. Honors in Hotel Management
  • B.B.A. in Hotel Management
  • Masters of Science in Hotel Management
  • M.B.A. in Hotel Management
  • Certificate course in Hotel & Catering Management

Once you have completed your graduation, you become eligible for a wide range of job prospects.
